Course Description:
So, now you want to learn more than the basics - well, this course takes you further into the art of cake decorating. It lets you perfect the skills learned in the introductory class while adding new flairs, borders, weaves and learning the art of decorating character cakes and transfers.

- Learn to Basket Weave
- More Borders - Advanced Shell, Layered Border, etc.
- Basic and Fancy Swags - 1 or 2 Layer(s)
- Basic Flowers and Placement
- Figure Piping and Bag Striping
- Exploring Gels & Icings
- Tips and Tricks with Transfers
- The Art of Decorating Characters Cakes (without the insanity)
Duration: 15 hours (broken into 5, 3-hour sessions)
Prerequisites: CU-1000, Introduction to Cake Decorating - Basic Techniques and Designs
Note: If you have prior cake decorating experience or have attended another basic cake decorating class, please notify us and we can discuss possible enrollment in this course without meeting the specified prerequisite.
Price: $150 per person**
**Supplies are not included - the attendee will be required to purchase and bring certain specified materials (a list is distributed during the registration process) including all cake layers and icings (recipes will be provided).
